Category: Accessible Games
Hi all! I checked out this coooool game on the Internet called Urban Dead, accessible at www.urbandead.com. The game works fine with screenreaders and such, and if you are interested, I am Zolentort on the game.
Neat, I'll check it out! Thanks much!
Bassplayer, I created an account, and decided to play as a zombie. Alas, I seem unable to smash through the barricade with either hands or teeth and am a bit stuck.
Any hints would be greatly apreciated
Also is this a story-driven game?
You can't break down the barracades as a zombie, it will never work. I spent like two days on one barricade.
Thanks.
Then, I don't really know what to do as a zombie. The game doesn't seem to have much of a story, and at this point I'm just wandering aimlessly throughout the city, not hearing any feeding groans and it is impossible to breeak the barricade. What should I do to progress in the game?
You need to bite survivors. The word survivor is next to the street name. For example, Buffington Avenue. Survivor. Then bite him with your teeth, as they due more damage.
I created an account years ago, but I think I only logged on once or twice. Care to refresh my memory on what the game is about and what you do? I might try it again.
Appearently, the game is a game of zombies virsus survivors. You can be one or the other interchangably. Let's say you start out as a zombie, and begin to kill survivors. But, if you no longer want to be a zombie, you can have a NecroTech staff member revive you. The only way to get back into zombie form is to die and stand up (easily done by jumping off of a tower). And survivors kill zombies, of course.
Hmmm, interesting. So is it like Lo-gd? Do you level up at all, and are there quests? Or do you just run around killing stuff?
You just kill stuff and try not to get killed. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.
Ok, well, it sounds like a bit of mindless entertainment, at least. there's nothing wrong with that.
This is true. The game proves itself to be a game that is not designed for hardcore play (games like alter aeon and such), but a game that is built more on the leisure side of things.
Are there any mindful games (story-driven, quests, etc), which are as well-written and creative as Sryth?
Just looking for an alternative, since it's super hard to play in Safari on the Iphone, and is no longer supported on the Braille Note Apex.
Sryth no longer supported on the Apex? How can this be, as I was playing the game two days ago without incident.
What? Oh, apparently I'm doing something wrong.
I could not do it, last time I tried.
Ugh, I'l have to update my AG subscription. Also, do you know of anything I can do to increase my Mele Rating?
